BE A GOOD BOY OR I'LL HAUNT YOU DOWN!

After working 14 hours at the Polynesian Cultural Center today, I was so tired, but managed to stop by Tamura’s grocery store to pick up some food to cook for the next day’s to’ona’i.

On the way back to my car, I shuffled my feet and moved slowly, pushing the shopping cart. Sooo tired….

After putting the bags into the car, instead of walking all the way back to put away the shopping cart, I kinda pushed it up onto the curb. Out of nowhere, I heard an old woman tita kine voice say:

“Boy! No even ‘tink of leavin’ yo’ cart o ‘dea! Walk ’em back to da right place bumbai I give you good lickens!”

I was caught off guard, looked around, but there was no one around!
But being obedient to the mysterious voice (cough, cough) I started walking my cart back to the store entrance. I put it away in its proper place and turned back to my car.

Then I saw a young boy pushing a shopping cart, followed by his grandma who was telling him:

“Dass right. Hurry up. Put ’em back. No be lazy, boy! Gunfunnit you!”

Whew, what a relief! For a second, I started to think that Tamura’s parking lot was haunted!!
