The Polynesian Cultural Center honored its “living treasures” and “exemplary service” recipients at a special banquet in the Gateway on October 12, 2023.
The honored included (front row, left-right): Toiva Lake, Sela Feinga, Iraani Bridges (for Cy Bridges), Mahana Mo’o Pulotu, Elisa Teriipaia, Mildred Enos, Eseta Toelupe, Ellen Gay Dela Rosa, Fifita Unga, (the late) Kelela Lombard (who has since passed away); (back row, left-right): President Alfred and Valerie Grace, William Mahoni, John Muaina, Keith Awai, Larry Yuen, Mike Foley (behind), Steve Cheney, Tauasā Sielu Avea, Fakasi’i’eiki Tovo, Ratu Seru Inoke Suguturaga. (Previously honored at a dinner in Salt Lake City: President Eric B. Shumway, Les Steward, and Leilua Logoitino Apelu.
